If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.
Henry David Thoreau
As i pass my 50th birthday, i wonder where my life has gone...my life can be put into the words--the beat of a different drummer--i always saw the world through a different eye and that was good for me...as i journeyed through the peaks and valleys of time, i began to take joy in MY view of life and i really liked the unique beat to which i moved...so as the clock ticked away and the calendar marched forward, i accepted ME as okay and i found happiness in my art...i am indeed an artist - it is in me and a part of me...what i do is art, how i live is art, and who i am is art...
i love creating texture thru various types of media, with fiber and fabric being a constant...i have been rust dyeing fabric for fiber art creations...i love the organic designs the rust creates...so step into my world and see what i see, hopefully a glimpse of what i might be feeling, and breathe in the spirit of art -- i hope you leave with a smile and a bit of light to brighten your day
